Overview
This course requires you to use your own computing device with the Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X operating system. You use the IBM Bluemix and DevOps environments to complete the exercises. At the end of the course, you have a working runtime environment that you can continue to use. This course teaches API developers and product managers how to develop, publish, and manage APIs with IBM API Management V4. You learn how to design and import an API interface in the Swagger V2.0 format. You implement APIs with a proxy or by using a composite assembly of services. As an API developer, you design and build APIs. You manage the APIs and plans through the API lifecycle. The course also teaches application developers how to create applications in the Developer Portal. The course runs the API Management product as a service on the IBM Bluemix cloud. You are required to register for a free IBM Bluemix account to access the course lab files.
