Course outline

5 days

Duration

ONTAP 9.8 Cluster Administration

5 days

Overview

The ONTAP 9.8 Cluster Administration Course is designed to help new users of NetApp's data storage solution, ONTAP, learn how to configure, manage, and monitor their storage clusters. During this hands-on course, participants learn how to create, delete, and maintain ONTAP clusters. In addition, they learn how to configure and optimize cluster nodes and workloads, as well as how to protect data with encryption and security. The course also covers topics such as iSCSI and SMB self-service storage and object storage and data protection. By the end of the course, participants should have a good understanding of how to use ONTAP for their data storage needs.

Course Prerequisites

No prerequisites are required to attend an ONTAP 9.8 Cluster Administration Training course.

Target Audience

The ONTAP 9.8 Cluster Administration Training is designed for system administrators, IT professionals, or anyone else responsible for cluster administration tasks in an enterprise environment.

It is ideal for people who are familiar with the basic principles and concepts of storage administration, but need to become familiar with ONTAP and its functionality for cluster administration.

Participants should have a good understanding of network technologies, such as TCP/IP or SAN, and have a basic working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.

The course will provide an in-depth look at the components of cluster administration and provide the skills to effectively manage and troubleshoot clustered environments.

Participants will gain a greater understanding of the cluster management, storage provisioning, and cluster storage architecture.

As well as provide the skills needed to effectively manage and troubleshoot clustered environments.
