The CMB-310 will be the newest premium offering combining the
CXD-210: XenApp and XenDesktop 7.1x Administration and CXD-304:
Citrix Provisioning Services 7.1x Administration into a 5-day training course with two premium exam vouchers. It will replace the CMB-300, which will be discontinued upon the CMB-310 release. Citrix Education will honor CMB-300 classes scheduled past July 24, however we encourage all CALCs to transition these classes to the CMB-310.

Recertification Program:
Automation Delay
As you may know, Citrix Education has launched a new recertification program to provide
Partners and customers with additional options to maintain their certification.
The previous recertification process required existing certificants to take and pass the appropriate exam associated with their certification. However, the new recertification program now offers partners and customers with an additional option to maintain their certification.
This new program provides partners and customers with two options to recertify:
- 1. Attend the associated Instructor-led training. By taking the associated course, they will
not be required to take or pass the exam.
OR
- 2. Take and pass the required exam.
Once the customer or partner has attended the appropriate ILT to recertify (option 1), it is expected that their certification will automatically update in their account. However, there is currently a delay in the automation process and it may take up to a few weeks for the customer’s or partner’s certification to link to their account. The team is currently working to address the issue and we will make you aware once the issue is resolved.
XenApp and XenDesktop 7.1x
Advanced Administration
As a part of the Virtualization learning journey, we would like to call to your attention that all CALCs should be targeting all prior CXD-203, CXD-300, and CMB-300 customers, as well as students that sat a CXD-210 class, to sit the CXD-310. We are requesting that all CALCs run a CXD-310 class this quarter. If you currently do not have a CXD-310 class on the schedule, please add one for this upcoming quarter.
The CXD-310 course is the next step in the Virtualization Portfolio to solidify the student’s skill set and prepare for the CCP-V certification exam. As previously communicated, all
CALCs should always make their best effort to get students back into the classroom for the next part of their learning journey.
