Skills Gained
Cloud computing represents a shift towards a more user-centric computing model where a layer of services sitting on top of an infrastructure decouples core business functions from the delivery of the underlying technology. IBM recognizes that there are multiple ways to deliver IT capabilities, including traditional software, hardware, and networking approaches, pre-integrated systems and appliances, and new breakthroughs that are provided as a service. While cloud computing might not need SOA, it depends on this IT as a service. Everything in the cloud is an IT service of one sort or another.
