Overview
A Workshop that focus on the application of Minitab in statistical computation and analysis of data. We will be providing the basic approach of data entry, analysis and interpretation of results from evaluation or experimentation.
In 6 sigma project, we need a clear and definite direction for problem solving. Hence, the application of data analysis tools such as Minitab provide a crucial support here for data obtained from evaluation and experimentation.
We will conduct the training in workshop with reference to participant’s actual data. This will facilitate effective learning and understanding of the tool.
Objectives
After Attending this session, participants should be able to :
- Apply Minitab in analysis of statistical data.
- Input relevant data to Minitab in correct way for analysis.
- Interpret output from Minitab with reference to real life situation.
- Establish the relevant actions for continuous improvement based on analysis results.
- Support 6 sigma project to derived the appropriate actions and achieved relevant results.

Training Methodology
This course will be conducted in the form of workshop and group discussion in an informal manner. Participants will be involved during the course through out the course in the form of actual computer work, data analysis and interpretation, result presentation and develop further action plans Examples and exercises given in the course will be practically orientated with reference to actual work environment.
Who Should Attend
The target audiences include ALL Executives, Engineers and Managers from Quality, Process, Planning and Production. This course is particular useful for participants involving improvement projects and need Minitab as a data analysis tool.
Programme scope, delivery arrangements and suitability are confirmed during enquiry.
