Course outline

2 days

Duration

2 days

Overview

Our 2-day intensive Managing Supplier and contract Manufacturers course is based on our unique Orchestra of Supplier Management methodology. The course content is modular and can be customized to your own organization’s procurement process.

Practitioners who take this course will learn to identify and manage important and strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers. You will then be equipped with tools and approaches to make specific interventions that suit each supplier. This course will help you secure greater value, performance, effectiveness, innovation and security of supply while reducing supply chain risk.

The course is delivered by our expert procurement trainers and includes participant engagement activities, facilitated debate, group work and case studies. It can also include work on developing an supplier management strategy to approach delegates’ actual supplier relationships.

Managing and working with suppliers and contractors go far beyond the upfront review and selection of who to appoint. Challenges often arise when the work begins after the contract has been awarded. Motivating your suppliers and managing the relationships is thus crucial to the final delivery of the contracted work.
