IPv6 Forum Certified Security (Gold)

Course outline

3 days

Duration

3 days

Overview

Is IPv6 more secure than IPv4? How easy is it to hack an IPv6 network? What are the new risks associated with IPv6 networks? What can an organization do to mitigate these risks?

In this course, we will explore the myths and realities of IPv6 security and discuss in details some of the new risks associated with IPv6 and how to mitigate them. There will also be a lab component where we will use both hacking and defense tools to analyse the vulnerabilities of IPv6 networks.

Entry Criteria

  • IPv6 Forum Certified Silver Engineer equivalent is mandatory
  • A good knowledge of general networking concepts is assumed.
