Overview
This is an Advanced course meant as a follow on course to Application Development - Intermediate to Advanced. It covers new features that was introduced in iOS 13, which are Dark Mode, Bring your iPad app to the Mac, Sign In with Apple and Swift UI.
Dark Mode
Dark Mode introduces a dramatic new look for iPhone. It’s thoughtfully designed to make every element on the screen easier on your eyes and is seamlessly integrated throughout the system. Learn how to quickly and easily implement Dark Mode on your existing apps.
Bring your iPad app to the Mac
Now it’s incredibly simple to start building a native Mac app from your current iPad app. Your apps share the same project and source code, so you can efficiently convert your iPad app’s desktop-class features, and add more just for Mac. Learn how to create a native Mac app from an existing iPad app.
Sign In with Apple
Sign in with Apple makes it easy for users to sign in to your apps and websites using their Apple ID. Instead of filling out forms, verifying email addresses, and choosing new passwords, they can use Sign in with Apple to set up an account and start using your app right away. All accounts are protected with two-factor authentication for superior security, and Apple will not track users’ activity in your app or website. Learn how to implement Sign In with Apple in your existing apps.
Swift UI
SwiftUI is a modern way to declare user interfaces for any Apple platform. Create beautiful, dynamic apps faster than ever before. Learn how to build a complete SwiftUI app from scratch.
Programs you will write
Let's Eat - a Restaurant App. You will add Dark Mode and Sign In with Apple to it, and create a Mac version of this app.
