Course Description
This 5 day course covers the use of Hitachi Universal Replicator and Hitachi TrueCopy in three data center (3DC) configurations, as well as Universal Replicator Delta Resync function. Details on the use of MxN Consistency (CT) Groups, Remote Replication Data Transport, and Hitachi Replication Manager are also presented.
The classroom sessions are supported by lab exercises where you will learn to install, configure, and use Universal Replicator, 3DC, 3DC Async, 3DC Delta Resync, and MxN CT Groups on Hitachi storage platforms.

- Describe Universal Replicator journals, including sizing requirements and restrictions on journal volumes

- Use Storage Navigator to configure Universal Replicator replication links, remote storage systems, and journals
- Issue Storage Navigator commands for Universal Replicator operations
- Set up Command Control Interface (CCI) command devices, create CCI configuration files and operate Universal Replicator with CCI commands
- Identify data protection best practice techniques
- Operate 3DC Configurations including 3DC Async
- Configure and operate Universal Replicator Delta Resync feature
