Certified IP Professional (CIPP)- IPv6 Routing Implementation

Course outline

5 days

Duration

5 days

Overview

IP version 6 is a new version of the protocol which addresses many issues with IPv4, including expanding the address space as well as providing support for security and mobility. It is essential that new IPv6 deployments are correctly configured for network reachability. This program is a vendor independent benchmark of your skills and capabilities in IPv6 Routing and Switching. This certification equips you with the ability to plan, implement and troubleshoot across a multi vendor network. Our hands-on approach of ‘learning through doing’ will improve your practical skills in areas of high demand in the workplace.

Course Objectives

You will be able to

  • Understand IPv6 address types
  • Configure static routes for IPv6
  • Understand the IPv6 routing process and routing table
  • Plan & configure an IPv6 routed network using RIPng
  • Plan & configure an IPv6 routed network using OSPFv6
  • Plan and configure BGP to distribute IPv6 routing information
  • Secure IPv6 routing protocols
  • Implement mobile IPv6
  • Use key IPv6 tools for testing and troubleshooting routing

Who can benefit

IP network personnel who require an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of an IPv6 routed network.
