Course Description

IBM Cognos BI Overview (V10.1) is a one-day, instructor-led course that provides participants with a high level overview of the IBM Cognos BI suite of products. Through lectures and hands-on experience, participants will be introduced to the elements of IBM Cognos BI and the underlying architecture. They will examine each BI component and understand the comprehensive corporate performance management solution. Participants will be shown a range of resources to provide additional information on each product.

Audience

This course is for multi-role (consumers, business authors, professional authors, developers, administrators, modelers, project managers).

Pre-requisites

You should have:

  • An understanding of your organization's business intelligence process and reporting needs
  • Experience using the Windows operating system
  • Experience using a web browser
