Overview
This 5-day instructor led class is delivered in a classroom setting. This session consists of a combination of instructor presentations followed by handson exercises performed by students. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions during the lectures and lab exercises.
Target Audience
This course is designed for individuals responsible for the administration of Avaya Aura® Session Manager and System Manager.
Course Prerequisites
Students are recommended to complete the following prior to starting this course:
- Basic knowledge of Voice over IP (VOIP) technology.

- Describe the purpose and function of System Manager and Session Manager.
- Describe how System Manager is deployed.
- Describe the primary role of Session Manager within a network.
- Summarize the way Session Manager integrates different phone systems through SIP entities.
- Describe the function of the Session Manager Dashboard.
- Describe the process of shutting down and rebooting Session Manager and System Manager.
- Describe the function of the alarming service in Session Manager.
