Duration
2 days
Overview
The training guide is intended to introduce students to the software’s user interface and the basic HVAC, piping and plumbing components that make the Autodesk Revit MEP software a powerful and flexible engineering modeling tool.
A key component in managing the BIM process is to establish a company foundation for different types of projects by creating standard templates and custom elements. Having this in place makes the process of any new project flow smoothly and efficiently.
Objective
Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Piping components in Autodesk Revit MEP; Work with detail views, add 3D and 2D elements and detail components.
Template and Family Creation training guide is to enable students who have worked with the software to expand their knowledge in setting up office standards with templates that include annotation styles, preset views, sheets, and schedules, as well as creating custom element types and families
Prerequisite
- 1. Basic of MEP knowledge and its terminology.
- 2. No previous 3D modeling experience necessary.
- 3. Delegates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows®.
