Duration
4 days
Overview
This course focuses on the basic features, commands, techniques that make the new and novice student productive on Autodesk Inventor in the shortest possible time.
The topics of this course are sketching, work features, feature placement, assemblies and the creation of part and working drawings.
After completing the course, you will be able to:-
- Capture design intent by learning the proper techniques and recommended workflows for creating intelligent 3D parametric parts.
- Create, place and constrain customer and standard components in assembly, simulate mechanisms, analyze and animate assembly designs.
- Document designs in different views such as projected view, section view, detail view, overlay view, exploded view and etc.
- Dimensioning and annotating drawing views with centerlines, symbols, hole & thread notes, part list and balloons.
Target Audience
The course is designed for the busy professional. It is short and intensive, combining lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice.
Objective
To provide a thorough grounding in Autodesk Inventor, learning how to design and creating production-ready drawings.
Pre-requisite
1). Working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows®
2). A basic understanding of mechanical drafting and parametric solid modeling concepts.
3). Users who have previously used a different CAD tool & are looking to migrate to Autodesk Inventor.
