Architecting Software with OOAD using UML

Course outline

3 days

Duration

3 days

Introduction

One of the key fundamentals in creating a sound design when architecting software is the appropriate adoption and application of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) technique that will contribute to a more accurate outcome with better quality attributes, robustness and on-time delivery. These are all crucial factors for the advancement of software development projects.

Simplifying the software development process will significantly contribute towards the agility and ease of maintenance in respond to dynamic business demands. For the business, this translates to better planning and utilisation of resources, customer satisfaction, competitive edge and timely ROI.

This course offers a unique experience with real-life business scenarios and practical workshops using a single case study, exposing participants to practical concepts and approaches in architecting software at each stage of the software development life cycle. It also focuses on the adoption of modeling techniques in architecting software based on UML diagrams.

Comprising of 75% practical hands-on sessions and 25% class presentations, this intensive course will equip and reinforce participants with a clearer understanding of software design and architecture fundamentals.
