EIEIO / CLOUD NATIVE & DEVOPS

Agile DevOps and BizOps

Course outline

2 days

Duration

2 days

Synopsis

This course provides an introductory overview of DevOps and BizOps as envisioned by Agile practitioners. DevOps is the practice of operations and development engineers participating together in the entire service lifecycle, from design through the development process to production support. Bizops is an internal-facing function that puts processes, systems, and data analytics in place to enable a business to scale. In a nutshell, Bizops helps your business operate better. Bizops team members are versatile, cross-functional utility players. They leverage strong analytical and communication skills to identify areas for operational improvement and bring together the right resources to drive change. They often lead the charge on internal analytics projects and implement system and process enhancements.

In essence, DevOps is the streamlining and improvement of software development practices within a company, while BizOps is the streamlining and improvement of business practices within a company.

Topics are presented from both a business and technology perspective and include adoption practices and associated domains. The course content is divided into a series of modular sections, each of which is accompanied by one or more hands-on exercises.
